I have discovered over my life that certain small decisions can turn your life around. For those small decisions to bring about that change, you need to get clarity on your big long term vision for yourself. Your clarity for this long term vision will grow as you continue to move in the direction of that vision. It is the daily goals and choices you make that will help you flesh out your long term vision. One of the best things you can do for yourself is write out your top 3 goals for each day. Those goals should help lead you to your long term vision. These goals will help you determine the choices we make for that day. It is in these smaller choices that we will see the small wins that will make the biggest difference. Some examples of this is have the goal to workout and it gets to the end of the day, you are tired and don't feel like working out and you have a choice to do it or not. You go and do it even though you do not feel like it. Your small choice to go do it even when you did not feel like it was a win in the right direction. You could be working on growing your business while you are still working your 9 - 5 and have to take your kids to their sports practice and you have 15 to 30 minutes of down time. What are you going to do with the down time? Small decision of investing that into growing your business will add up to 7. 5 to 15 hours a month invested into your long term business goals.
